

Moothart is an American multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter best known for his collaborations with the garage rock musicians Ty Segall and Mikal Cronin. Over 11 albums, Ty Segall had established himself as one of the best purveyors of cranked garage rock, standing proud alongside the likes of Osees in terms of both quality and output. He is a former member of the Traditional Fools, Epsilons, Party Fowl, Sic Alps, and the Perverts. Segall is also a member of the bands Fuzz, Broken Bat, the CIA, GØGGS, and Wasted Shirt. Ty Segall is an American multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and record producer best known for his solo career during which he has released thirteen studio albums, alongside various EPs, singles, and collaborative albums. After indulgoing his rock side on most of his 2018 releases, Ty took a detour with First Taste, released in August 2019, on Drag City Records, which was more clearly informed by vintage pop and folk-rock sounds. This concert features two absolute legends of garage rock showing off their solo chops and blowing the bulkheads out of The Ship. Highlights from the concerts were released in March 2019 on the album Deforming Lobes, credited to Ty Segall & Freedom Band.
